On a whim, one semester long ago, I decided to take a jewelry design class. I found I really enjoyed not only the aesthetic elements, but also learning about the properties of metal and problems solving aspects of constructing metalwork.

A Colorado native, I left Golden for San Francisco to study architecture, graphic design, and hospitality management. All the while continuing to dabble in silversmithing during summers, adding stone setting and reticulation to my skill set. After graduation, I started apprenticing for a silversmith in Boulder, where wire wrapping and beadwork were introduced to me. Even when working full time for a commericial interior designer, I continued working in Boulder, working on my own collections, as well as hosting craft nights, teaching my friends my skills. I furthered my experience working for a artist where we made jewelry to sell at craft shows.

Finally, I decided to branch out on my own.. I started this here website, bought a tent, and hopped out on the road to do art shows! Though my current location is Ogden, UT, I am planning shows in other places as well such as San Francisco and Colorado.
